He can finally sit on his potty by himself (albeit he's backwards, but it's probably more effective that way for a boy). He also LOVES to stand up and pick up the bowl and walk it very carefully in two hands to the toilet and dump it and then go put it back. Today he was SO EXCITED he got to dump poop (most of the time it's empty). I think he has the idea more than I have the commitment to spend the time and just do it.
He loves to drag all his blocks out and dump them out and then destroy my towers. With a "BOOM".
He loves the beach.
He loves the water, especially our lake. My biggest fear will be when he can turn the door knob and he opens the front door when I'm not looking (we always lock it, but there are times we miss it) and he's running across the street to the lake without a hesitation to go throw rocks in for the turtles.
He loves the zoo. We went to the zoo this morning for something fun to do and he had to bring his elephant pillow friend with him. (we got this elephant pillow/blanket thing when he was born and I remember thinking what are we going to do with this? well, apparently elephants are his new favorite animal now. Good thing I kept it because it's coming with us on the plane on Wednesday).
He also climbs in his stroller by himself when he wants to go for a walk. Every day after lunch and every night before bed. (new stall tactic before going to sleep?) He puts all the friends he wants to take in the seat first and then sits on them and just waits for me to notice.
Sooo... Joe taught Lincoln how to shoot a straw when we went to Chipotle for dinner. He kept asking for more. He thought it was super fun.
He got all his eye teeth! They're fangs. Apparently it's from my dad. Who knew. Now we're waiting on 2 year old molars!! He's already got his fingers way in the back of his mouth so who knows when he'll get them.
Lincoln Says:
"nuts nuts nuts" when he wants nuts. It's a good thing he's not allergic to them because he loves them. all of them. peanuts. almonds. cashews. pistachios.
"door" when he wants to go for a bike ride or go in the garage for anything (like the sea shells we hid in there that he knows about. so much for hiding.)
"go" when he wants to go out the front door or when Bella needs to go out.
"Bellaboo!!" when he sees her or hears her bark.
"wooooah!" when something cool happens.
"BOOM!" whenever he throws something into a tub or just for fun.
"Mama" finally!! It came back.
"Luna" when he sees Luna (a black poodle) and Mya (his friend he plays with at the dog park. she's not so sure of him though).
"Boob" when he wants boobs. He's almost completely stopped nursing (even in morning and at nap, he mostly just suckles then sits up) except at random inappropriate times he really really wants them to come out. No idea why.
"paa" for iPad. Yup. iPad. He knows to look in my drawers and under our pillows for it too. He can turn it on, unlock it, change the pages, and find the ap he wants. He often reads Another Monster at the End of This Book or Tickle Finger in the Jungle.

| He knows he's not supposed to, that's why he's making that face. |
